The organisation was formed by a group of campus students to advocate for behavior change within the higher institution of learning.
According to Team Mafisi Sacco Secretary Rober Manori, they chose the sensational name to make the organisation identified easily within the campus.
The name Team Mafisi has been linked to men who have a high affinity for women.
The group aims at educating its peers against the use of drugs and having unprotected sex, which might easily spread STIs.
The group also distributes condoms in males hostels during weekends.
