Authorities at Friends Secondary School Chelebei in Bungoma were shocked after finding 20 girls pregnant during an impromptu check
The situation came in to a limelight following the abrupt pregnancy test on female students, when they reported back to school from the long Christmas holidays.
"The students, aged between 13 and 22 years, were confirmed pregnant after the school management carried out a spontaneous pregnancy testing exercise". said one of the teachers who sorted anonymity
The management of Chelebei secondary school is now blaming boda boda operators whom they accuse of luring the innocent girls into sexual relations.
Initially, there were allegations that some teachers were seen moving a round with some of the students during the aforementioned holiday, and funny enough, most of those students have tested pregnant.read more
